Lews Castle Grounds Transport link study

Lews Castle Grounds is separated from the town of Stornoway by the Bayhead Estuary.
Access to this beautiful area for old people and the disabled is only possible if they can be dropped off in a car in the grounds.
A renewably powered transport link is planned,whereby a 2m wide footpath,with gentle gradients is planned along which electrically powered vehicles can travel.
Survey,design and feasibility work is required to progress project.
