Leyland Baptist Church Building Works

Leyland Baptist Church is particularly focused on supporting isolated and marginalised groups including the elderly, asylum seekers, people with low mood, and under-18s who are out of the education system due to mental health issues. The renovations needed are: To knock down the defunct toilet and corridor area. To level the floors so it is more accessible for those with mobility issues. To add a disabled toilet. To use the new space to add a smaller community room. Along with the community cafe and many local groups, Lancashire Positive Minds, a support group for parents with children facing mental health challenges and neurodiverse needs, meets monthly at the church and the Red Cross runs a drop-in for asylum seekers every Wednesday
