Lightcliffe CC – Development of Secure Storage Area

The project would seek to purchase and install three shipping containers for storage of ground maintenance equipment, thus increasing on the currently fragile security for this critical items.

Recently, a housing estate has been built near to the ground and the developer used part of the club’s land to install its welfare facilities, temporary offices, parking and storage area. This work has now finished and the developer has left the hard standing on this land which gives us an opportunity to use it for further secure storage on a permanent basis. It also has the added advantage of being close to new and existing residences, increasing the security through this proximity.

The majority of the work will be undertaken by club volunteers.
