Lighting Up Our Shared Public Amenity in Rural Glenullin

The main objective of our project is the improvement of a public amenity such as our walking trail and pitch area here in rural Glenullin. We will achieve this through the following objectives:
– Replace our old outdated floodlights with a new energy efficient floodlights system.
– Make a saving in our energy bills by 50% and current floodlight repair costs so that we can redirect any savings into enhancing the public amenity spaces we have
– Create 5 new older person programmes through better access to our shared public amenity walking trail thanks to enhanced lighting during winter months.
-Create 4 new programmes on our public amenity walking trail for local families in Glenullin during the winter months, linking with our charity partner Eagle Glen Community Group.
– Be more environmentally friendly and aware of our environment going forward
