Lillington & Longmoors Gardens Recreational Facilities

The project involves the transformation of a currently closed sports area into a multi-games space and outdoor gym benefiting over 5000 people annually. At present the estate open space is derelict and has been closed for over three years due to health and safety reasons. Major concerns such as the state of the fence and surface and the lack of equipment were highlighted in a community consultation and youth consultation carried out by Groundwork. The project is strongly backed by social landlord CityWest Homes, Metropolitan Police and the City Council, and will be part funded by the landowner
