Limes Community Centre, Sheffield – New Roof (50017/D)

The aim of the project is to provide a new roof for the building by replacing the existing metal roof which, due to its age and construction, is no longer waterproof. The Centre is a single storey building containing a main hall, kitchen and storage area, toilets, computer room, office, meeting room and charity shop. The project will completely recover the existing roof with green metal sheet fixed on spacers and covered with 200mm of insulation. Purlins will be strengthened where necessary and internal ceilings taken down and replaced.

The Trust grant is a contribution towards the roof.
