Lincoln Area Regeneration Group

Transform a unused green space on a housing estate into a community allotment. The space is highly visible on the estate and in it’s present state constitutes an eyesore. The plans are to either plant directly in the current soils on site, or to build raised planters, depending on the quality of the soils and contamination levels. There are also plans to establish a Lincoln Estate Gardening Group, with a minumum of 20 members from the outset and that this would further develop from there. Healthy eating, environmental sustainability and learning about food growing would all form part of this project.
