The programme of work on the South Transept is broken into specific projects. The key project is the conservation and restoration of the 8 Clerestory Windows with their iron work and joinery. Other work within the South West Transept programme will involve Re-leading the aisle roofs, replacing damaged roofing timbers and repairing gutters. Masonary work above the red line to clerestory wall, main southern pinnacle,4 flying buttresses and 4 aisle level triangular pinnacles. Cleaning, repointing, indenting new ashlar stones and new carved work and removal of iron cramps.
