Lingdale Community Play Park

In response to village youngsters we propose to refurbish the current play area with more challenging / interesting equipment. The natural features of the site will be used to conserve the unique landscaping which includes a natural slope used by youngsters for a variety of activities e.g. sledging, roly poly, and easter egg rolling. We will also preserve the existing expanse of wooded area & incorporate appropriate play facilities alongside it. Preserving & improving the natural current environment of the site & making it more pleasant by exploring creative ways of providing play that will incorporate the existing aesthetic qualities are fundamental to the project. Redcar & Cleveland Borough Councils arborist has been consulted with to ensure our proposals are appropriate & would not be detrimental to the site. Public consultation has taken place with youngsters & residents and we have designs & quotes from 3 independent play companies.
