Linking Local Limestone

The project aims to improve, restore, and reconnect local magnesian limestone habitat in South Yorkshire, whilst introducing sustainable measures to facilitate and support positive management in the long term, and engage local communities.

Habitat management work will be carried out to improve the condition of both magnesian limestone woodland and grassland habitats. A programme of local heritage walks will be delivered to engage and educate local communities, with training provided for volunteer groups to secure long term success for the project sites.
