Linking the Ling – Phase 2

The project is a continuation of Linking the Ling Phase 1. The project works with farmers to demonstrate different management techniques which can enhance heather cover and provide better grazing throughout the year. There will also be a number of demonstration events held to raise awareness of management techiques and engage a wider audience of other farmers and specialist groups. The long term aim is to halt and reverse the further fragmentation of upland heath in Dumfries and Galloway.
