Linkinhorne Parish Hall – New Village Hall

Our much-valued and loved parish hall, central to the Parish, is becoming more expensive to maintain and is no longer capable of meeting the needs of the community. It is a timber-framed construction over fifty years old, with a leaking asbestos roof, and is showing signs of its age. We plan to replace it with a new building, externally very similar, but re-designed internally to include, in addition to the main hall, a smaller meeting room, a modern kitchen and toilets, including disabled persons’ toilet and baby change facility. Disabled access will also be greatly improved, as will the environmental footprint of the building, in that it will be well insulated and more sustainable.
