Lisson Gardens

The Gardens are opposite North Westminster Community School and back onto houses. It is a sunken garden currently consisting of an old young children’s play area. Based on a community consultation in which 170 local people were involved it was prioritized to introduce recreational facilities for young people in the form of an amphitheatre area with a semi formal kick-about. Other priorities are improving access into the Gardens by replacing the steep ramps and steps with more shallow easily accessible steps and a DDA compliant ramp, introducing more formal and informal seating throughout the Gardens and increasing and diversifying the planting.
