Little Aston Village Hall, Sutton Coldfield – Hall Upgrade and Storage Space (005728)

The project will overcome the space and functional limitations identified by existing and recent users and by potential users whose plans for using the hall were abandoned due to the limitations. The overall project will:-
– Remove the stage, replace it with a second hand collapsible unit and extend the existing flooring into the area – creating 25% more usable floor area, the stage will be stored out the way in new storage area when not required.
– Replace the obsolete lighting with a more flexible, effective and warm LED based arrangement.
– Thermally insulate and line those walls not already insulated and insulate the ceiling.
– Cover the ceiling with a sound absorbing coating to achieve the noise reverberation standard recommended.
