Little Britain Lake Enhancements

This project will improve biodiversity and landscape quality by removing invasive species such as update the facilities at Little Britain Lake with purchase and installation of new picnic benches, bench seating and an interpretation board, as part of a wider regeneration project led by London Borough of Hillingdon. The project will also deliver 4 local community Volunteer Sessions to improve Himalayan Balsam & Floating Pennywort in the River alongside the Lake. We will also include volunteer Litter Blitz sessions to help keep the green spaces tidy and more inviting for people to enjoy litter free.

At the end of the project, we will have engaged and connected local communities with the countryside on their doorstep and increase footfall with improved facilities. As a result, more people will enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits of connecting with their local green space.
