Littledale Meadow Path and Entrance Improvements

To transform Littledale Meadow into a welcoming community green space accessible to everyone with good infrastructure which benefits the community, people and wildlife. The Friends of Littledale Meadows and local community are working together to build a space which creates a home for people and wildlife in an urban setting. The site is at the heart of the community.

Create a 1.8m wide all weather surfaced path which will include groundworks, preparing the new path route, laying of stone base and laying a flex pave surface. The project will open up key route which has become water logged, uneven and narrow making the area uninviting and unusable by the majority of residents. The all weather route will enable all residents regardless of ability to use the site in all weather conditions.
Create 7 welcoming and accessible entrances by removing old wooden entrance features and installing a DDA accessible K barrier that welcomes users with buggies, wheelchairs and motorized scooters to use the site.
