Littleton Pastures grassland enhancements

We plan to improve the fencing and maintenance access at this LCF funded site. This will allow better control of grazing to enhance the biodiversity of the grasslands. Re-aligning an existing fence and improving and installing new gates will improve access for maintenance vehicles/machinery whilst safeguarding small wetland areas. We plan to incorporate Yellow Rattle wildflower seed into the grassland as appropriate to increase the grassland flora. We will also open up a small old pond and plant three native oak trees along side the existing three veteran oaks to further conserve the biodiversity and landscape value of the site.
