Littleton Road Neighbourhood Park

The project will create a park which will provide a communal green space. This new provision will create a high quality public realm for recreation and relaxation. The creation of the park will transform an area of land which currently is under used and is a focus for anti social behaviour.

The parks content and design will be determined following results of the community consultation and the on-going engagement work.

The open space has the potential to include a multi-use games area, a youth area, a neighbourhood area equipped for play and nature area.

The development is consistent with Salford City Councils Urban Open Spaces Strategy which recognised the absence of facilities in total in this area and proposed the provision of a neighbourhood park
