Littleworth Community Centre New Insulated Roof

This project is to provide a new insulated roof over the Community Centre. Littleworth Community Centre has been extended in many stages since the first building was erected in 1954. There is an asbestos apex roof over the main hall and all the surrounding extensions are flat roofs. There is no insulation in any of the roofing structures which makes the building costly to heat . Minimising heat loss will enable energy conservation measures already in place to have more impact. As a consequence heating bills will also be reduced enabling hiring fees to be kept low for the benefit of the Centre users. A warmer Centre will be a more welcoming place for its users, many of whom are over 65.
