Liverpool Road Hall, Skelmersdale – Community Hall Refurbishment (008099)

Liverpool Road Hall is an old church building which has undergone significant works to improve it’s safety and warmth: Complete electrical rewire; new gas boiler and efficient radiators, underfloor insulation; repositioning of front door and partition wall to retain the heat. Further works were recommended by Livewire the contractors and now need to be completed in order to make the building multi usable, safe, and therefore more cost effective to run. We have funding to fix the drains and relocate the toilets out of the main hall to make them more accessible.

The project will refurbish the kitchen to make it usable and repair the floor; Repair the roof; create safe access in and out of the building, Reinstall blocked up or rotted windows and door to let natural light into the building and create a usable storage area releasing the back room for community use.
