Living Rivers: Engaging communities in the restoration of a chalk river at Waterford Heath

This project will restore a section of chalk river (River Beane) within Waterford Heath nature reserve, improve visitor access and engage the local community in the conservation of this rare habitat. This project forms part of a larger programme of work by HMWT to create ‘Living Rivers’, a landscape scale conservation initiative.
