Living Roots

To construct large wooden compost bins and a raised bed vegetalbe garden made maily from untreated sleepers by a contractor. These will be used as part of our environmental education programme for schools and the local community . Firstly to show composting in progress and also to demonstrate how vegetables are grown, this has been requested by schools as many children have not seen how their food is produced.
We have just built a new Living Roots building for enviromental education, completed mid April 2016. The compost bins and the raised bed will be part of the external landscape around this building.
