Llandegfan Common Nature Reserve

Cytir Llandegfan is an area of common land owned by Menter Mon comprising a mosaic of birch woodland, scrub, heath and two ponds. It is traversed by both public rights of way and informal paths. It will be managed as a nature reserve principally for the two LBAP habitats on site, lowland heath and broad-leaved woodland. It is a proposed Local Nature Reserve. Management will include woodland management, heathland management, scrub control, ecological monitoring and survey, maintenance of footpaths, and interpretation – including a leaflet, information board and educational uses.
