Llangurig Community Centre Storage Facility

To provide additional storage for our existing and future needs with particular emphasis on play equipment for younger members of community. This follows on from our earlier project to provide a meeting place for educational and social activities for local residents in a building that needed updating and has now been refurbished. The usage we have seen in the first year of operation is slightly different from our earlier expectations and we would like to utilise some of the money that is not required for the acquisition of computer and other equipment to provide additional storage for play equipment primarily. Additionally younger users increasingly utilise the Village Green for activities originating in the Community Centre. The Village Green, which is owned by Llangurig Community Council, fronts onto the A44 Trunk road and there is a low wall down from the Green to the road. Users have asked if we could provide some form of fencing to prevent childern and possible play equipment going onto the road.
