Llanthony Secunda Priory – Pond and Green Court Project

Llanthony Secunda Priory is a scheduled ancient monument in the docks area of Gloucester city. Through this project we are seeking to clear, dredge, and raise the level of the pond which sits in the Priory grounds. We will then plant wild flowers / plants in and around the pond in order to encourage wildlife and keep the water clear as well as make it look beautiful! In addition we are seeking to improve the area in which the pond is located (Green Court) by removing scrub, tidying the stone sets in the area, levelling the ground, planting new grass and a range of trees.
