Local residents young people and the general public will have 24 hr access, 7 days a weeks, all year round.

The project aims to transform the concrete uninspiring and un-environmentally friendly terrace at the lyric theatre in Hammersmith into a breathing space for the town centre, encouraging visitors and wildlife to enjoy an oasis of green in the sky. The project will create a breathing space in the sky, which will consist of vibrant planting which will provide natural colour year round, as well as a range of habitats for wildlife. The Hammermsith London Roof Garden at the Lyric encompasses the creation of an interactive environemtnally friendly wildlife space that encourages and promotes 21st century urban design.
