Lollard St Adventure Playground Wildlife Area

The project will put RoSPA approved timber fencing & gates around wildlife area & wildlife pond area in Lollard Street Adventure Playground.

Install a RoSPA approved steel gate connecting Lollard Street Adventure Playground new wildlife / organic veg garden area designed for young children & Lambeth Walk Doorstep Green (LWDG) toddler area.

Through project funding & match funding we shall run

Activities in Lollard St Adventure Playground planting native hedgerows in wildlife area, improvements to the wildlife pond area (planting and maintenance), creation of raised beds (recycling materials from old fence), planting raised beds, creation of signs for wildlife area, creation of wildflower area & insect / plant ID.

Activities at Lambeth Walk Doorstep Green (LWDG) will protect the site’s biodiversity assets, these activities will be of weeding invasive plants & removing self-set saplings, hedge management & planting native plants in agreement with Lambeth Park Department & site management plan.
