London Road Gateway

The project will provide improved leisure facilities and create new opportunities for people to participate in recreational activiries. This project will raise activity rates and help to promote social inclusion. Facilities will be included for BMX, baseball, football and walking, along with additional landscape and horticultural improvements. The London Road Gateway will attract visitors from the surrounding area, provide a boost to the local economy and widen access to recreation for people living across the South-West of Lancashire. It is in a prime location to attract visitors from outside Preston and a car park is included in the plans (with two disabled parking spaces)
