Londonthorpe Woods Cycleway

Cycle/Access track construction; interpretation and map x 2 at either end of cycle/access route; benches/perches x 5 along cycle/access route; associated traffic calming measures on Five Gates Road to allow safe crossing of highway by users. The project will: - allow the woods to be accessible by cycle, foot or buggy to all for 365 days a year - provide a safe and accessible route to explore the flora and fauna of Londonthorpe Woods - enable & encourage local people to exercise more, through walking or cycling - increase, improve and enhance health & wellbeing outcomes for visitors - contribute to the UK’s Net Zero aspiration by getting more people out of cars and to travel under their own steam
