Longford Park Wildlife Garden

The aim of this project is the refurbishment and development of Longford Park wildlife Garden that was initiated in 2003 by Friends of Longford Park.
Reline damaged pond liner, fence the pond area, create a boardwalk to improve access to pond area, improve access, create new butterfly & bird feeding area, plant wildflowers, trees, shrubs hedgerow whips & aquatic marginal plants.
Provide seating, deliver numerous activity & planting day to involve local & young people. Provide inclusive interpretation that can be used by blind & visually impaired visitors.
