Look Out for Wildlife

Adel Dam Nature Reserve is an urban reserve hidden in the middle of Golden Acre Park, Leeds. A habitat mosaic consisting of woodland, wet woodland, open water, wet bog and reedbed, the facilities are rundown, making access difficult and uncomfortable. The Trust wish to improve the accessibility of Adel Dam Nature Reserve, enhancing the visitor experience and interpreting the wildlife value. This includes laying new boardwalks, replacing a decrepit hide and installing interpretation signage, Much of the work will be carried out in partnership with a local volunteer group.
