Lorne Gardens

The aim of the project is to transofrm an underused space that is neglected, in need of repair, and used for dumping rubbish and dog fouling, on Lorne Gardens, within the Holland ward in the London Borough of Kensington Chelsea.
We plan to create a community garden which will include raised beds, ensuring that the whole community will be able to take part in growing plants, fruit and vegetables once the capital works are completed. By creating this space and giving residents the opportunity to tend to a plot, residents will develop a range of skills and knowledge such as:
*practical growing skills
*communication skills
*knowledge about various plants, fruits and vegetables
*knowledge of the growing seasons
