Lost Orchard and Pond, Friends of Magpie Bottom, South Gloucestershire

During the last year the Friends of Magpie Bottom have developed a masterplan for the nature reserve which in recent decades has been rather neglected. As part of that plan the group wish to seek funding to help restore two areas within the reserve, the first around the pond and the second within the 100 year old lost orchard. The project aims are to protect and increase biodiversity, access and public understanding of the natural assets on site through new planting, interpretation, way-marking and footpaths.
