Lost Track of Time

This 3 year project proposes to:
Recruit – Identify and involve local residents and communities of interest in the project.This will be achieved by running a series of onsite 36 short taster events,workshops and community days along the railway.
Train- provide volunteers with the knowledge,skills and confidence to undertake practical environmental action.This will be achieved by running a bespoke onsite training programme of 36 practical conservation skills,leadership,safe tool use and risk assesment courses
Activate -Provide opportunties for volunteers to utilise their skills.This will be achieved by implementing a programme of 120 conservation task days that delivers the biodiversity benefit for the site.The focus of the habitat work will be hedge,woodland and grassland management.It is also recognised that the access improvements including path renovation,seating and other appropriate furniture and artwork will be required to enhance the experience along Railway walk
