Lostock Park, Manchester – Creating Outdoor Gym, Woodland Walk and Starter Skate Area (007729)

Installation of a 7 station Gym trail with easy to use equipment available all times of the day to give people choice about when and how they use it. Volunteers will create woodchip walkway through the wooded section at back of the park to link up the perimeter. Installation of a beginner’s skate area that will support younger children to cycle, scoot, and skate safely whilst developing resilience and social skills. The parks existing skate bowl attracts expert skaters but is just two big a leap for beginners, the new area will allow the resident responsible skaters to mentor new starters.
