Lostwood Community Garden

Lost Road Park is a small, neglected, grassed area, used largely by dog walkers, located in the heart of Poltair; a large residential area of St Austell. It is owned by Cornwall Council and designated for community use. We will use the funding to transform the area into a low maintenance community garden for all to use, following the principles of permaculture & forest gardening. This will be achieved via the installaion of; raised beds with native trees, herbs and hardy low maintenance shrubs; Gently inclined paths with turning spaces to increase accessibility for less-able people and wheelchair users.
