Love the Letcombe Brook

The main aim of the project is to improve the habitat quality and biodiversity value of this Priority Habitat. Reducing tree cover and bankside brambles will enable more light to reach the water in this heavily over-shaded section. This will allow riparian habitat to recover which can then support important species such as the water vole, wild brown trout and the many specialist invertebrates present in chalk streams.
