Low Moor MUGA Access path and environmental improvements

The aim of the project is to improve the access path to the Low Moor Multi Use Games Area which is being eroded by poor drainage arrangements. The path will be regraded and drained to a swale and wet meadow which will be planted with moisture tolerant wildflowers. Improving the drainage will also alleviate the periodic flooding of the bowling greens adjacent to the MUGA. Both the MUGA and Bowling green are operated as public amenities by the Gregson Community Association.
