Lowca Off-Road Footpath

The project will provide a safe pedestrian route from the village of Lowca and indirectly, from the village of Parton to the main road. The road to Lowca, over this stretch is narrow, tightly enclosed within stone retaining walls and often busy and there is no existing provision for pedestrians. The project was instigated by Parton Parish Council responding to local desire for a safe pedestrian route. Proposals were approved at parish meetings and are supported by neighbouring Lowca Parish Council and the land owner
