Lowestoft Community Church Refurbishment

The project is to refurbish and update aspects of our church buildings. Both buildings get considerable usage from groups that are run by the church for the local community (e.g. we run a programme of clubs for children aged 0- 18, a group for over 50’s, Alpha’s and other community events). We also hire out our facilities to a number of external user groups and to individuals who wish to hire it privately (particularly for children’s parties). The main areas for refurbishment have been identified as:
• Replacement of carpet in back hall (current carpet tiles are stained and coming up around the edges).
• Installation of new oven in kitchen as current oven is old and unreliable. We would also like to install a dishwasher to make the building more hireable to groups/individuals wishing to cater.
• Improving decor (we have started by painting front offices and toilets but wish to continue this by painting both halls).
