Luard Walk Doorstep Green

Local residents have raised concerns about the lack of adequate facilities at Luard Walk, especially to meet the needs of young people. It provides little more than a rough kick about area and an old inadequate childrens play area, which is reaching the end of its useful life. An ambitious scheme has been designed, which reflects the aspirations of all ages of the community for the site.

Phase 1 (Doorstep Green) includes, environmental improvements, dog run, landscaping, wildflower areas, footpaths, sitting areas and improved lighting and tree planting.

Phase 2a includes installation of donated play equipment – for whichfunding sought

Phase 2b includes purchase and installation of new play equipment
Phase 3 includes arts projects
