Lydbrook Memorial Hall Refurbishment

Lydbrook Memorial Hall is the village hall of Lydbrook, Gloucestershire and is a registered charity (No. 308286). The charity also runs the nearby recreation ground.

The building is of stone and brick construction, and dates from the 1920s. The building is structurally sound but in need of extensive refurbishment throughout. It is hoped that this will increase its appeal as a community facility and will extend the range of groups using the facility.

The building has a poor level of energy efficiency and is difficult to heat. The trustees are keen that as part of the refurbishment, the energy efficiency of the building will be increased, running costs reduced and carbon emissions cut.
