Lysander Place Garden

To work with local residents and business users to transform the site from an unloved uncared for piece of land into a community garden and facility which allows residents and community members a space to meet and relax. The site is used by the majority of the West Thamesmead residents to access Woolwich. The community garden will also improve levels of biodiversity and protect plants and fauna in the area. The majority of residents are flat dwellers and have no outside space or shared community area, it is hoped that the garden will bring different sections of the community together.
