Lytchett Matravers Muga Project

The project is to provide and subsequently run a floodlit multi-use games area (MUGA) with a polymeric playing surface measuring 37m by 18.5m with a 3m high surrounding heavy duty mesh fence within the village of Lytchett Matravers. The MUGA will be available for use by both the general public and organisations from both within and outside the village. The MUGA is being sited adjacent to the village school so that the school can make use of it during the school day. Whenever the school are not using the MUGA during the school day, and at other times, the MUGA will be availabe for general use. In addition to football, facilities for other suitable sports will be provided including: basketball, tennis, hockey and cricket (practice). Proportional registration due to reduced levels of public access. LTCS to fund £32000 only.
