Madley Environmental Study Centre

The aims of the charity include providing environmental education, and to demonstrate the principal of sustainability through education and practical demonstration.

The main site consists of a nature reserve of seven acres, a diverse habitat of wetland, woodland and meadow, quite unique to Herefordshire.

Additionally, MESC has a further 13 acres which is being developed to increase the biodiversity of the site, encourage public access (already accessible 24/7) and provide an increased area for educational activities. This funding proposal aims to improve and encourage accessibility to the whole of MESC through improved signage and interpretation.
