Magpie Bottom Conservation and Interpretation Project, Friends of Magpie Bottom, South Gloucestershire

During the last year, with the help of ECT, the Friends of Magpie Bottom restored several areas within the nature reserve, including saving the 100 year old orchard. This project aims to build on this first phase by continuing to improve public access to the orchard, conserve and protect the rare heritage fruit trees, and promote public understanding of the natural and historic assets on site, with the creation of an educational ‘Fruit and History Trail’ with interpretation and signage points.
