Main and Training Pitch Floodlight Replacement, Winscombe AFC, North Somerset

This is a project to replace the floodlights at Winscombe AFC.The club’s floodlights are more than 30 years old, highly inefficient, create lighting pollution ‘overspill’ to its neighbours and have started to fail – causing matches to be cancelled. The club has safety concerns for players and spectators and would like to install more modern and robust lighting that is safer, environmentally friendly, increases usage of the pitches for the good of the local community, and generates more funds for the club, in support of its expansion plans. Installing a more efficient lighting system is now a key priority for the club.
