Maintaining Biodiversity & Securing the Population of Luronium natans West Midlands Canals

The project aims to bring back into good managable control the unique habitats and their priority species within the historic Wyrley & Essington Canal and associated feeders and arms inc. Cannock Extension SAC following long-term aggressive pressure from invasive non-native species (INNS), with a particular emphasis on the UK BAP priority species Luronium natans.
