Wells Farm is a mixed working farm that demonstrates modern farming practices and working conservation. It is also a site attracting many visitors, who can see why maintaining lowland farmland is important for birds such as skylarks and corn buntings. The population of rabbits need controlling to ensure the amount of crops they eat do not adversely affect the conservation objectives.
