Make Waddy Wonderful

To secure for the benefit of the public generally and especially those who live in the vicinity the open space known as Waddington Park and to develop the recreational facilities thereon. By its very nature the project turns an open field into a park which then becomes an asset to the community at large and not just minority users.
The local primary school will be active in maintaining some of the planting elements and will use the park for sport and other activities thereby promoting future community ownership and spirit.
Once completed the park will be maintained in perpetuity by Flyde Borough Council.
